The coming GBLS, held at Copenhagen Business School on 25-26 May will be focused on the following core themes:
- How to deliver growth, create value, and enhance competitiveness in a World of geopolitical conflicts and de-globalization trends?
- What to learn from the most competitive countries and corporations of the World today?
- The world of “crisis as usual” calls for new skills and work flows at the board level. Agility, optionality, asset light, early warnings, big data, AI and more. For corporate responsibility and sustainability, the corporate purpose must be the moral compass.
Review of the Global Board Leadership Summit
In order to bridge board topics and board challenges of the future of our markets, organizations and board skills we partnered with various institutions and companies to facilitate and run a Board Summit in Singapore to connect EMEA and South East Asia board members.
The peer2peer MasterClass took place for the first time in 2019.

5 – 6 September 2022, Singapore
The third Global Board Leadership Summit was held on 5-6 September 2022 in Singapore where board leaders from Asia, Europe, North America, South Africa, and the Middle East met to discuss the challenges and required boardroom agility to succeed in this New World Order:
- Geopolitical Risk, Sustainability and Climate Action, Deglobalization and Supply Chain Reconfiguration, Inflation and Growth
- Sustainable Governance and Business Transformation
- Digitalization, Cyber Risk and Resilience
- Succession, Diversity and Leadership Development
The Global Board Leadership Summit
9 – 10 January 2019, Singapore
Together with Audrey Lim from the Human Capital Leadership Institute of the Temasek Holding, Tom Jacobsgaard and Steen Thomsen from the Copenhagen Business School and its Board Leadership Society and the Governance Centre of the Stanford University the Board Academy initiated and facilitated a Global Board Leadership Master Class Summit in Singapore.
